Yellow House on Coliseum Square

On the weekends, I'm going to post some old favorites. After stumbling on this wonderful house quite by accident, this watercolor was painted plein air on location.

Very nice watercolor! Edward Hopper feeling, one of my all time favorites. Nice job!

Hi Joan,
You know I love this painting. It's a gem! Such warmth and vitality it conveys an imaginery vision of the viewer transported inside the house, looking out a window. Beautiful colors, perspective, Hopperish.
